Grant Writer

Assist our program by researching and preparing small grants to support music education.

The Grant Writer plays a vital role in expanding financial opportunities for our band and choir programs. Even small grants can help fund instruments, scholarships, repairs, and enrichment experiences.

What You'll Do:

  • Identify potential grants from community, corporate, and arts organizations (we have a list of previous opportunities)

  • Draft and submit short applications (templates provided)

  • Collaborate with directors and Executive Committee to gather program details

  • Track deadlines, submission status, and award results

Time Commitment:

Flexible and completely remote! Perfect for that volunteer who prefers to work behind-the-scenes and independently.

Skills Needed:

Writing ability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. No grant-writing experience required.

What to Expect:

Support from Booster leadership, sample applications and clear steps for each grant.
